Every day we wake up and try to welcome the mornings with a yawn and a stretch. Our furry friends beg their humans to get up with the tap of a paw or the wet sniff of a snout. Those slumbering sunrise trips to the kitchen are attempts to start the day while we clean out the Sandman's crust from the corners of our eyes.
Our mornings require a cup coffee. We fumble into our kitchen cabinets and grab that container of grounded coffee beans. We ready the water while the second wave of yawns passes our face holes. We toss those coffee grinds into the coffee maker and assault the “on” button. Minutes later, percolating echoes of the coffee maker grab hold of our ears, and as the aroma of our favorite flavor seeps into our noses, we wake up ready for that first sip.
The Café Stream that first cup of coffee in the morning after a night’s sleep, or that cup of coffee on a badly needed work break. It’s the inevitable swig of stress relief while we chit chat across the table with a frantic friend in need.
The Cafe Stream would like to have that first fresh cup of coffee in the morning with you and yours. You and I will say good morning, have a few laughs, and get ourselves ready for the day. We don't have to meet the day alone. It's a nutty world outside, we don't have to step into it alone.

The Little Things
It is said that it is the little things that matter most. And with our current national and world wide situation, we are beginning to see just how important the little details are.
Remember the crowded cafes? Remember the busy Donut shops and neighborhood bakeries? Remember those Saturday mornings when we all headed out to our mini-weekend vacations or our main street neighborhood walks? The coffee shops, dinners, and little eateries used to buzz with activity and conversations. Opening the door to your favorite spot for a cup of coffee was like stepping into another world. The aroma of hot coffee and freshly baked pastries filled the air!
Tasting The Difference
No Politics & No Religion
If we take a moment to think about the millions of individuals that share our planet, it can be difficult to know if any common ground exists. The Net is filled with politics, religion, and plenty of angry discussions and posts. These front-page internet topics make it hard to be open-minded, make friends, or simply to sit and meet one another.
Politics separates us into groups and religion separates us into belief systems. Our politicians play god and our priests, pastors, imams, and gurus tell us tales of miracles and talk us into fundamentalism while passing the donation plate to fund their finances. We argue, cackle, and bitch to one another with the pretense that our dogmas are absolute.
We are brainwashed into the comfort of the collective. We surround ourselves with bodies of thought we believe are correct. We construct barriers with the conviction that our ideas are unassailable. The truth is that politics and religion drive us crazy. There are, most likely, singular truths. There is, probably, a specific path the planet should be taking. But; for now, what real change is on the horizon and which one of us is willing to dismantle our own sacred cows? The Cafe Stream says keep your beliefs and continue your ideologies, but for one moment put them away and hang out.
The Café Stream believes that if we take politics and religion out of the equation, we will find that we have much more in common than most of us think. It is the Café Stream's belief that we don’t need politics to show us the way or religion to find the truth. The Café Stream is a safe space where politics and religion are locked away in a closet.
The Cafe Stream is a place where we relax, drink coffee, and have some fun.

Coffee Matters
Coffee goes well with good conversation. It is at coffee tables where relationships are built. It is the coffee tables where ideas and plans make their debut. It is the side tables at the local coffee shops where we sit with friends and family and laugh at memories or good jokes.
It is Cafe Streams intention to promote coffee, engage in laughter, and create an online atmosphere of ideas, nonsense, and friendship. Every day you can count on The Cafe Stream to be there as you pour, prep, and sip your first cup of coffee or need a break and want to join in on a topic that concerns individuals and families.
The Cafe Stream thinks that coffee should be joined by laughter, light conversation, words of friendship and light hearted sarcasm. As we all prepare for the day, take a break from the day, or stop for a pause in life and our insanity the Cafe Stream is here for you and will help to bring a smile to the face while you sip your cup of favored flavor caffinated coffee.
